This is reportedly the oldest intersection in North America, as it has four wooden homes, built before the year 1800 standing on each corner. These are four of the twenty one pre-1800 wooden homes that stand in Shelburne. This is the most eighteenth century wooden houses in Canada, followed by Saint Andrew's with seven.
