Old Post Office
Built in 1908 by Andrew Ross Bower, this three storey granite building served as the town post office until 1965. The roof, which is now a beautiful shade of green, is constructed from copper. The clock in the dome was donated by the McCarthy family of Trinidad, one of Shelburne's early Black families. This landmark stands on the corner of John and Water Streets and is a wonderful example of stonework in this area.
