Coyle House
Built c. 1785, this two and a half storey wooden frame house stands on a stone rubble foundation, like the Peter Guyon House, at the end of Charlotte Lane. The windows are irregularly placed and of varying sizes, perhaps due to alterations during the years. The original owner was Patrick Coyle who was a merchant and may have done some of his business out of this house. Today this building forms part of the Shelburne Museum Complex, and houses Tottie's Crafts store.
